Q3) Adventure of a Lifetime


You have just received a mysterious invitation from an unknown sender with the subject line 'The Adventure of a Lifetime.' Write an email responding to the sender, expressing your curiosity and asking for more information about this adventure. What questions would you ask, are there any risks and what are the benefits that lie ahead?


Draft an email that conveys your interest in embarking on this journey.


 

Q4) To the moon!


Today is July 20th, 1969.


Write a diary entry from the perspective of someone your own age on the day of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing.


Start your diary with the following sentence:


“Dear Diary,


As we huddled around the television, nervously watching Neil Armstrong take first steps on the moon, I couldn't help but feel...”


In your diary entry, you should reflect:

  • How it made you and your family feel

  • How the public/community reacted

  • How it shaped your expectation of the future

 

Q5) Earth Hour


Earth Hour is an annual event that encourages people to turn off their lights for 1 hour to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote energy conservation. This year, your school will be participating.


Write an information sheet for your school, informing students and teachers on the importance of participating in this event.
